Mariners minor league report, May 3, 2013: Paxton looks strong for Tacoma

James Paxton had perhaps had his best out of the season for the Rainiers, pitching five innings and giving up one run on two hits while striking out nine hitters and walking just one. Class A High Desert picked up a 9-7 win over Lancaster. Ji-Man Choi went 3-for-5 with a double and a homer.

Rain cancelled games for Jackson and Clinton.
