SEATTLE — Right-hander Erasmo Ramirez, as expected, will be recalled by the Mariners from Triple-A Tacoma to start Tuesday’s game against the New York Mets at Safeco Field.

That’s not the only change in the Mariners’ rotation.

The club announced plans to push right-handers Hisashi Iwakuma and Felix Hernandez back one day, which means the Mariners are now without an announced starter for Wednesday afternoon’s series finale against the Mets.

Iwakuma and Hernandez are now slotted to start Thursday and Friday in the first two games of a four-game weekend series against Baltimore at Safeco. The Mariners also list Chris Young and Roenis Elias as their starters for Saturday and Sunday against the Orioles.

The Mariners must make a corresponding roster move prior to Tuesday’s game to create space for Ramirez.

One possibility for Wednesday’s game is right-hander Taijuan Walker, who is currently scheduled to start that day for Tacoma.
