Can’t stay glued to your twitter feed for news on the Mariners? Check back here, where we’ll compiled all of today’s tweets along with, occasionally, some addition information:

It’s not instantaneous. For that, you have to follow me on twitter (@TNT_Mariners), but I’ll try to update regularly. Latest stuff on top.

4:40: #Mariners roll a boxcar in the 8th in rallying for 9-8 victory over Texas. The capsule report from our Insiders Blog.

4:24: Logan Bawcom works a scoreless ninth as #Mariners beat Rangers 9-8 after scoring six runs in ninth. M’s improve to 10-3.

4:09: Going to the ninth at the Big P. #Mariners bringing in Logan Bawcom to try to close out a 9-8 victory over the Rangers after a six-run 8th.

4:03: Hard grounder by Xavier Avery strikes Texas pitcher Cory Burns. Turns into RBI single…and #Mariners lead 9-8. Six runs in, one out.

4:01: And it’s now tied…Chris Taylor’s high fly to deep center is lost in the sun by Engel Beltre for a game-tying double.

4:00: Never-say-die #Mariners rallying in eighth. Two-run double by Mike Dowd and two-run triple by Cole Gillespie trims Texas lead to 8-7.

3:48: Attendance of 10,291 is the #Mariners’ biggest home crowd of the season.

3:12: #Mariners RHP Zach Miner, a bullpen candidate, had retired all 12 hitters faced this spring before yielding HR to Michael Choice. Texas 8-3.

2:55: Willie Bloomquist exits for pinch-runner in fifth after getting his third single (in three ABs). Also had a couple of nice defensive plays.

2:53: As for results, Hernandez: “We’re in spring training, man…I want to throw zeroes out there. But it’s spring training. I don’t care a lot.”

2:52: #Mariners starter Felix Hernandez generally pleased despite results. ” I was throwing a lot of strikes. For the most part, I felt good.”

1:58: Lucas Luetge allows both inherited runners to score on two-out double by Adam Rosales. Hernandez’s final line shows four runs in 2 1/3 IPs.

1:49: Hernandez: 48 pitches, 34 strikes. Four hits. Four strikeouts. One walk. Two runs (so far).

1:48: Felix out after 2 1/3. Not the best defense behind him. Rangers lead 2-0 with runners at first and third

1:12: Felix Hernandez works around leadoff walk in Texas first by sandwiching two strikeouts around a fly to right by Prince Fielder.

11:25: ”… It would probably mean more production. In the end, he’ll be stronger and fresher. I say that, but we’ll see how it goes.”

11:25: McClendon on 3B Kyle Seager, who played 155 and 160 games over the last two seasons: “Ideally, you’d like to see him play a few less games…

11:13: McClendon on Montero (6×10 in last three days with 2 HR, 2 2B, 5 RBIs): “He got better the last three days. He was horse(spit) before then.”

EXTRA: “He’s doing better. He knows what he’s got to do, and the ball’s in his court. He’s starting to play a little better. He’s still got to get himself in better shape and lose some weight.”

11:11: Lloyd McClendon on Dustin Ackley in leadoff spot today: “Don’t read much into the lineups right now. He’s just leading off. That’s all. ”

9:54: Your guess is as good as mine. @nephew_joey What would it take to get a deal done between the two? Which players?

9:50: #Mariners lead all teams with 14 spring homers after getting four (two by Jesus Montero) in Saturday night’s 8-5 victory over the Dodgers.

9:47: For Viciedo? If so, doubt deal gets done. @seahawksforever Hate to say it, but would probably take Ackley to get this done, don’t ya think?

9:45: Only two up today from minor-league camp: LHP James Gillheeney and RHP Stephen Kohlscheen.

9:44: Others likely to pitch today include Logan Bawcom, Lucas Luetge, Tom Wilhelmsen, Fernando Rodney and Zach Miner…Miner impressive to date…

9:43: Michael Saunders in CF. #Mariners have been taking a long look this spring at Abraham Almonte in that role…

9:42: Ackley gets a look at leadoff, but still think that’s unlikely once season starts with Seager and Cano slotted for 2-3…

9:40: Lineup notes: Cano misses fourth straight day after having root canal; likely to play Monday. Hart in RF for second time in three days…

9:36: #Mariners vs. Texas: Ackley 7, Bloomquist 4, Seager 5, Smoak 3, Hart 9, Morrison DH, Zunino 2, Saunders 8, Miller 6 and Hernandez 1.

9:28: #Mariners have another SS DH on Monday: Maurer vs. KC’s Shields at 1:05 in Peoria; Paxton vs. Arizona’s Corbin at 7:10 at Salt River.

9:26: Rangers vs. Felix: Profar DH, Andrus 6, Fielder 3, Choice 9, Adduci 7, Rosales 5, Tanaka 4, Chirinos 2, Martin 8 and Lewis 1.

9:24: Sure, then dance a polka and call it Christmas. @thekjosman give em smoak then resign morales. Lomo won’t work out anyway….

9:24: Sox have Dunn and Konerko. @Bob_Ru: Smoak might be the piece if a trade goes down

8:23: Viciedo? Makes some sense. @joshrone93 How likely is it?

7:56: #Mariners still interested in acquiring a right-handed power bat. Here’s one possibility.
