9-23 -- lineups

Brad Miller is back in the line-up and batting lead-off for the Mariners today. He had not started a game since Sept. 14 when he suffered a mild hamstring strain against the St. Louis Cardinals.  Raul Ibanez is back in the line-up today after sitting out yesterday. Is manager Eric Wedge going to give him every chance to break hit his 30th home run of the season? Yes, and I really don’t have a problem with it. I’m guessing most of his teammates don’t either.

It appears Joe Saunders is done for the season. The Mariners’ have listed Saturday’s starter as TBA, but it will likely be either Erasmo Ramirez if healthy or Brandon Maurer.

Here’s the Royals game notes: 09.23.13-KC-Notes

No more Joe Saunders! You just made my day!!

  2. Hopefully Joe Saunders is done for his career here.

  3. I’ve been a Mariners fan my entire life, go to 15-20 games a year, even coached high school games at Safeco Field, and I say this with all the honesty and conviction I have: if they pick up Saunders’ option I will stop supporting this team in every way.
