9-21 - Mariners line-up

After his pseudo day off, Kyle Seager is back in the line-up.He will bat third. Nick Franklin gets another start as Brad Miller finishes up his recovery from a  strained hamstring. No Josh Hamilton for the Angels.

Mariners manager Eric Wedge said Earsmo Ramirez feels better today. He said Ramirez was just battling groin tightness and could and should be good to start next week.

Brad Miller is participating in a full pregame workout, including running the bases. He should be available as a sub tonight.

Wedge doesn’t have any set limitations for Felix Hernandez tomorrow in his start. He said they’ll watch Hernandez closely and communicate with him in between innings to see how he’s feeling.

Why do I think that we will win only 1 of these last 2 games on the road? Oh, it could be that we only won 1 in each of the past city we visited. Given our luck, it will be tonight and we will squander yet another brilliant Felix outing tomorrow afternoon. The season has been like that. Most will be watching football anyway.

Then a 2 series homestand, which is long enough to say good-bye to Guti, Chavy, Wedge, Joe Saunders, Humberto Quintero, Kendrys Morales and I am sure a few more.

Note: Brendan Ryan already gone. Jason Bay went bye-bye. No remorse over Mike Morse. Bonderman is no-more-man. Jesus Montero has to prove to the team that he is rehabilitated after his steroid scandal suspension (this year). And we have a bunch of starting pitching holes to fill. Please just say No to Noesi!

  2. Quinault says:

Congrats to Raul. This almost saves the season. Folks should come out just to honor him! Remarkable.
