Left-handed reliever Lucas Luetge was recalled on Monday and starter Jeremy Bonderman was designated for assignment. Bonderman was slotted to pitch Thursday, so the Mariners will need to find a replacement.

Erasmo Ramirez last pitched July 5, so he is just about right in line for a Thursday start, if that is what the Mariners choose to do.

Who else would it be? It will be Ramirez. Walker would be a shock to me.

Hopefully it isn’t Noesi. A couple of decent spot starts isn’t enough to undo the track record he’s already established here.

After the first start, I thought Bonderman pitched well. I thought Harangatang would go before Bonderman.

Harang has outpitched Bonderman over the past few starts. Ramiriz is on the same daily schedule as Bonderman, so seems likely.
I don’t think Leutge is ready just yet – I surely hope Pryor can bump Capps back to AAA.

Z also let slip in an interview recently that Ramirez would be up soon.
