I have duty for multiple beats today, so we’ll be brief here. Lineups and notes. Notice Curtis Granderson in there for the Yankees. He’ll be making his season debut. Also notice Ibanez and Andino in there for the Mariners. Manager Eric Wedge said those two are playing because of decent past numbers against CC Sabathia.

Way to over-think yourself out of a win, Wedge. Friggin dumb ass.

Oh, and that ump was effing awful as well.

  2. bbnate420 says:

How far inside was that final pitch, a foot??????

They should fire that bum immediately.

  3. The pitch was in the right-handed batters box. Awful call. Smoak’s AB was another bad series of calls. Apparently the outer-half against a lefty is 6 inches off the plate…

  4. bbnate420 says:

That’s bad enough, but he was also calling balls that were inside the strike zone balls consistently when Felix and Furbush were pitching. If you’re going to be effing clueless about where the strike zone is at least be consistent about it.
