A big happy 50th birthday to Edgar Martinez. Can he really be 50 already? Obviously, the best 50th birthday present Edgar could receive is an induction to the baseball hall of fame. I don’t have a hall of fame, and I don’t think he’s going to get in this year. But people can hope. Either way, he’s still one of the greatest hitters I’ve ever seen in person.
He’d probably be the third best hitter on the M’s if he played next year.
