Today is the anniversary of the tragic, senseless death of Mariners outfielder Greg Halman, who was murdered at the hands of his own brother. Regardless of his baseball potential, he was good kid with an easy smile and a personality that drew others to him.

Remember life is precious whether you are a baseball star or a baseball fan.

Thank you Ryan for reminding us that even though we think baseball is life the loss of Greg is far more important.
