The Seattle Mariners are on a seven-game losing streak during which they’ve scored 14 runs, and manager Eric Wedge continues pulliing new lineups out of his roster.

But first, that roster changed today: the Mariners recalled right-handed pitcher Shawn Kelley and sent right-handed rookie Erasmo Ramirez to Tacoma, where he’s likely to slip into the rotation. Yes, he will be back.

This one may please more fans than most – he’s got John Jaso, Mike Carp, Kyle Seager and Jose Montero in it, and Chone Figgins sitting.

Best of all, he has Felix Hernandez starting.

That should mean a nice crowd at Safeco Field, and a better-than-average chance to win if the Mariners can, say, score.

          Here’s today’s lineup:

          Dustin Ackley 2B
          Brendan Ryan SS
          Ichiro RF
          Jesus Montero C
          Kyle Seager  3B
          John Jaso  DH
          Justin Smoak  1B
          Mike Carp LF
          Michael Saunders  CF
          Felix Hernandez RHP

Seems they did hit the way it reads…although Smoak has a way to go yet.
