Right-handed reliever Shawn Camp is the latest Seattle Mariner to volunteer to show how and when a pitch is thrown, and he chose the changeup.

This is the fifth in the seriesw, coming after Chance Ruffin (the slider), Dan Hultzen (the curve), Shawn Kelley (the fastball) and Steve Delabar (the split-fingered fastball). By now, if you’re not a semi-professional pitcher, you’re not paying attention.

A word of warning: Given the fact I have no training whatsoever in editing video, there are times these poor pitchers appear to jump and twitch – which they didn’t do. Edits can be tough, but hey, the video is free.

  1. This is one of the best series that I’m seeing from ST. Fantastic work, Larry!

This is must-see stuff for any kid or coach. While you’re dealing with goofy relievers, could you get one of them to share the recipe for shaving-cream pie?

Another interesting video. The editing “twitch” is no big deal and doesn’t bother me personally, but those can be fitted with a transition effect that will take away the choppy look.
