Milton Bradley celebrated his first hit in 22 at-bats by being ejected from the game.

Bradley gave the Mariners a 1-0 lead in the third by doubling to left and scoring Ichiro Suzuki.  The Mariners got a bad break when Miguel Olivo appeared to beat out a ground ball to third that Kevin Youkilis hesitated on. Replays show that the play wasn’t even close.  He was safe by two steps

Mariners manager Eric Wedge came out to argue the call with first base ump Todd Tichenor. And he did so quite vehemently. Shortly after Wedge left the field, Bradley, who was on second base continued to yell his thoughts on the call to Tichenor. Second base umpire Gerry Davis, who is the crew chief, heard enough and ejected Bradley.

The two argued some more before Bradley was restrained by third base coach Jeff Datz and Wedge. This is Bradley’s first ejection of the year. But he was ejected in spring training as well.
