There may be nothing better in the off-season than baseball lists – best free agent lists, worst signings lists, teams on the rise lists.

Baseball Prospectus and writer Kevin Goldstein have a good one out now: The Top 11 Seattle Mariners prospects, ranked from five stars to two stars, with all the juicy things we love in November reading. When will each arrive in the majors? What’s the good and bad? What’s the perferct world projection?

  1. Lueke didn’t even make the list?? Why the heck did we trade for him & his baggage if he can’t even pitch??!

    Cortes looked ready enough to be in the bullpen next year. Ackley? People sure seem to like this guy, but he looks like he needs a couple of more years in the minors. But whatever, bring the whole lot of them up, it can’t get much worse.

    No Luecke or Truinfel??? I’m not sure how much I trust this “expert”.

  4. Noticed that Josh Fields isn’t on the list either – and he was a 1st rounder just a couple seasons ago.
