Shortstop Jack Wilson what he considered a ‘mild’ hamstring strain back in early May – and then missed more than six weeks – returned to the roster from the disabled list today.

It didn’t get him into the starting lineup, but it will soon.

“We’ll mix and match Josh and Jack, and we’ll get Jack in games,” manager Don Wakamatsu said. “Josh can play more positions, which gives us versatility, but he’s also played great at shortstop.”

Josh-not-Jack Wilson is batting .288 in 42 games, while Jack-not-Josh is batting .253 in 26 games.

Today’s lineup vs. RHP Aaron Harang:

  • Ichiro Suzuki, RF
  • Chone Figgins, 2B
  • Milton Bradley, DH
  • Jose Lopez, 3B
  • Franklin Gutierrez, CF
  • Josh Wilson, SS
  • Mike Carp, 1B
  • Eliezar Alfonzo, C
  • Michael Saunders, LF
  • Ryan Rowland-Smith
