Well, we have our first televised game of the spring training for the Mariners. Both FSN and MLB Network will be carrying the game which starts at 7:10
The Mariners will be wearing green hats tonight (above).
Both teams are throwing out what look to be their opening day lineups or something close to that. The only exception is second baseman Ian Kinsler, who is still nursing a sprained ankle.
Obviously there’s plenty of news surrounding the Ranger right now with Sports Illustrated breaking the news that manager Ron Washington tested positive for cocaine during the middle of last season. I really have no opinion on the subject is that people make mistakes and hopefully he doesn’t make another one again. Washington has always been fair with me when I’ve dealt with him. And hopefully he can rid himself of any personal demons he may have.
