Russell Branyan is talking to the Seattle Mariners about a new contract, but in the meantime the big first baseman welcomed a new child – daughter Quinn.

The third child for Jill and Russell Branyan, Quinn appears to have taken her size from her father. She was nine pounds, eight ounces at birth.

Mother and daughter are doing well, and now Branyan can focus on the deal he and general manager Jack Zduriencik are trying to hammer out.
