UNION: Standing with the workers in Wisconsin

Since 2001, we have spent $1 trillion on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. In 2008, rampant deregulation led to the Wall Street crash, throwing countless people out of work.

Even though many CEOs were knowingly committing fraud and promoting pyramid schemes that were doomed to crash, none of them has served any jail time, apart from Bernie Madoff. State revenues have dropped drastically due to the Great Recession that resulted from the immoral, unethical actions of Wall Street executives.

UNION: Liberals’ yellow streak showing

We finally see the yellow streaks up the backs of liberals. To escape a vote on ending collective bargaining for public employee unions, liberal Democrats in Wisconsin fled. Cowards.

When the health care vote came up, Republicans did not flee. They overwhelmingly voted no.

Wisconsin is no different than the state of Washington, or for that matter the country as a whole. They are broke. Wisconsin public employees make an average of $52,000 per year, plus benefits of up to $22,000 per year for medical insurance. How many private sector employees make that?
