IVAN: Remembering the good times

While attending Mount Tahoma High School, I was involved in Ivan’s life by working for Robin Johnson and with his sons at the B & I Pet Shop and Zoo.

My fondest memory was when we would take Ivan for rides in my car in 1964. We would take Ivan nearly everywhere with us; if we left him unattended for a split second he’d go ape, ripping the head liner to shreds and tearing the door panels off the doors, and that was OK.
