MOSQUE: American Muslims have a right

MOSQUE: Word choice changes perspective

As an English teacher, I taught my writing students this Mark Twain quote: “The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug.”

Many Muslim people here in America seem to feel that they have a right to build it. And while they might be technically correct under the law, if they truly wanted to promote peace and goodwill as they say, maybe they should be asked how they would feel if families of 9/11 victims wanted to build a Christian church and a Jewish synagogue next to the Kaaba, the holiest shrine in the Muslim world
