TOLLS: Fewer left to pay increasing cost

Noah Crocker, senior financial analyst with the state Transportation Commission, wants to remind us how we would all be sitting in traffic without the new bridge (thenewstribune.com, 7-11).

Yes, we would. If I recall, the majority of the Gig Harbor area voted against building a new bridge.

Crocker also points out that the tolls were going to rise regardless of how we felt and the state of the economy. In fact, sooner than we want we will be paying $6 to cross. I’m willing to bet Crocker does not cross the bridge daily to go to his job.
