ELECTION: Bill Hilton’s big on community

My good friend Bill Hilton has my enthusiastic support in his run for state representative in the 25th Legislative District. He is eminently qualified by virtue of his integrity, maturity, and career and real-life experiences. As an active community volunteer, he is effective, innovative and knowledgeable.

As a  player on the Mount Tahoma High School football squad in the early 1970s, “Wild Bill” Hilton learned teamwork and skilled strategy under the tutelage of Coach Joe Stortini.

ELECTION: Fighting those 17 angry billionaires

We are preparing for the overwhelming flood of TV ads as a result of Citizens United unlimited campaign funding. Much of it will come from 17 angry billionaires who think there should be less Wall Street and environmental regulation, larger tax cuts for millionaires and smaller entitlements benefiting the middle class. They may have their way if the Republicans take over at all levels of local, state and national government.
