I-522: Label changes won’t be expensive

Re: “Anti-labeling side sets record with nearly $22 million” (TNT, 10-30).

I wonder why someone would spend $22 million to save fractions of a cent on changing labeling?
My guess is that labeling has nothing to do with what they are spending and more to do with the fact that they don’t want us to know that they are changing our food.

I worked in manufacturing and changed labels for each new customer. They never had to charge more because the change was only a matter of typing in the change in the computer and waiting for the printer to spit out the new change. If we had charged more, it would have only been fractions of a  cent.

My solution is to vote for I-522 and take my chances. I want to know what is in what I put in my stomach.
