POLL: Age apparently matters to polling company

I’m pretty sure I was insulted last night. A pollster called and wanted my opinion on the two initiatives on the ballot until he found out I was over 64. Then he hung up on me after thanking me for my time.

I guess the polling company doesn’t know I routinely buy food to feed three generations ages 6 to 90. I guess it doesn’t care that I have more discretionary money to spend than, say, a young family of four struggling to get by on one income. I guess it assumes I don’t read every opinion on both sides of the issue. And obviously they don’t value that I religiously vote in every election.

Guess I’ve been put out to pasture, and my life experience and knowledge are useless.
