SYRIA: Are we seriously considering another war?

This U.S. can’t be serious? Another war? More treasure and lives lost? For what? We don’t even know who the good guys are.

Syrian President Bashar Assad is a monster, but are the rebels any better? Are we just opening the gate for another insurgency by al-Qaida or the like? Is there an exit strategy? Is borrowed money from China going to fund this war too? How will we know when we win?

After two ill-advised wars in the Middle East, have we not learned our lesson?

I don’t know what has happened to my country. Has everyone in Washington, D.C., gone mad?

All weapons of war are bad. For the life of me, I don’t see much difference in dying of poison gas or being vaporized by a 1,000-pound bunker buster. Dead is dead, and we use shells containing depleted uranium. We use white phosphorous and napalm. Does this somehow give us the moral high ground?

Give me a break. The whole thought of another war is nauseating.
