PUYALLUP: Animal cruelty at city’s parks

My family was out and about enjoying the beautiful Meeker Days in Puyallup this weekend and its lovely parks like DeCoursey until they came upon a cruel horror show. Apparently duck and geese as now being exterminated in quite a few of Puyallup’s parks.

Instead of a beautiful walk along the waters, my two grandbabies and other families instead got horrific views of mass bodies left all over the parks: small ducklings with little holes in their heads, adult duck bodies along creek lines and floating in the water with some sort of froth flowing out of their dead beaks.

Thinking some viciously cruel vandal was at work, my son-in-law approached a park employee who instead told him that this was approved by Puyallup leaders and if he or the kids saw any live ducks or geese they should throw rocks at them to help make these animals leave the parks.

Callous poisoning , shooting and mass extermination of wildlife, letting the dead rot where they are felled and park employees encouraging parents to teach kids to throw rocks at animals?

I am horrified beyond belief.
