We all hear the stories of the generosity of strangers in the coffee line that “pay it forward” by purchasing the coffee of the person behind them. It makes the news; it makes us all smile at the random act of kindness of strangers; and, it gives us hope that there are still good people out there.
We have the ability to do this for thousands of Puyallup School District students both now and in the future, as has been done for so many of our students that currently attend Puyallup schools. We have the ability right now to ensure that the children of Puyallup have access to a top-notch education, and to let them know that we value them and their hard work.
We can do this with something that means so much more than a cup of coffee – we can do it with an education – for the cost of three of those coffees per month.
Pay it forward, Puyallup, and vote yes on the upcoming bond election on Feb. 12.
