President Obama is back on the campaign trail, this time to sell his gun control plan. Air Force One is back in the air burning 5 gallons of fuel every mile. The President’s vehicles that are required on his trips are not carried on Air Force One, but arrive on other aircraft that also burn tons of fuel.
The President has expressed his concerns over our debt. We are faced with massive cuts in military spending and other essential programs. This does not deter the President from spending millions of dollars to deliver his agenda to the people.
It seems that it would be more cost effective if the President would remain in Washington, D.C., work with Congress on his agenda and let the state’s elected representatives deliver the message to their constituents.
