We voted years ago for a new Edgemont Junior High. It was built for 800 students. Today it is only at 400 students. Computer labs and other modern facilities remain empty because the Puyallup School Board and parents will not consider busing to eliminate the need for portables.
They also tore down, without notice, Hill Top Elementary, which was up to date at that time.
Until they use the existing school, I urge voters to reject this bond for the excuse of more portables.
