COAL: Don’t trade away towns’ way of life

Re: “Coal train issue draws scrutiny over traffic, air” (TNT, 1-8).

When people in power start messing with the standard of living and safety of their neighbors in towns where they never go and don’t have any interest in protecting, yet want the business of a foreign country so badly they are willing to swap the good of these neighbors for some bottom line price, it is time to be very concerned.

Come on, Washington leaders, don’t sell us down the river for foreign money. We love our little towns.
