GUNS: Why rerun photo of girl with gun?

I can’t beleive that the editors of this newspaper decided to rerun the picture (12-28) that was published early this year of the little girl sitting behind an M-60 machine gun that was taken out at the military base at some event.

In light of what happened to those children and teachers back east, what, pray tell, were you thinking? Did you really look at what you were printing and think, oh yeah, this will be good.

Try, if you can, to be more sensitive.
