It’s been said that most of our so called reasoning consists with finding arguments that allow us to go on believing as we already do.
Is this the problem with organizations like the NRA? Maintain the status quo at all costs?
As far as the never-ending controversy over guns, mental illness and violent videos go, an observation by Goethe still holds true: “When ideas fail, words come in very handy.”
