I don’t believe that anyone can justify the use of a gun to kill another human being, unless it’s in self-defense.
The dreadful massacre that happened in Connecticut, along with other senseless killings over the years, have fostered massive public outrage and concern about the availability of guns.
We need to keep in mind that the gun doesn’t kill. The killer does. I would venture to say that there are more homicides on an annual basis with vehicles than there are with guns.
Let’s get to the root of the problem by stemming the tide of Hollywood movies, TV dramas and video games that desensitize our youth into thinking that shooting someone is just part of the game.
