JURY DUTY: Why haven’t I been summoned?

Re: “Wants to serve, not called” (letter, 11-9).

I also wonder what the process is for soliciting prospective jurors in Pierce County. I was born in Tacoma and raised in Puyallup. For the past 40 years, I have been a resident of Puyallup/Pierce County. I served once as a juror for the Puyallup Municipal Court, but I have never been summoned for duty by Pierce County.

I would gladly serve as a juror for Pierce County. It is one of my civic duties.

I have been a registered voter since I was eligible and have no criminal record. What do I have to do to serve on a jury?
