JUDGES: County Council should reverse decision

Re: “Pierce County flips on judges” (TNT, 11-14).

After reading that the Pierce County Council had voted to include the county prosecutor on the committee recommending judicial appointments for District Court, I wanted to send you a cartoon. It would be of the prosecutor standing next to Lady Justice with his thumb upon one of the scales.

Unfortunately, I have no artist talent. If you have someone on staff who wants to draw the cartoon, you are free to do so. I expect nothing in return, which, unfortunately, may not be the case when the prosecutor makes a recommendation. Even if he does not, the appointment would be tainted. The council should, again, reverse itself.
