Most of us can fondly recall an educator like Robert Meline who had an important, direct impact on our lives. How sad that his life ended prematurely at the hands of a family member.
Perhaps it would be a good time for those of us who have known a teacher who had a positive effect on our lives to reach out to that person and let him or her know that.
As one sage noted, “A teacher affects eternity; no one can tell where his influence stops.”
