MARIJUANA: Welcome to the EverWeed State

I grew up in the Evergreen State, thankful for the green beauty around me, but now I’m ashamed to be a part of the “EverWeed” State.

Did the proponents of the marijuana legalization movement think about how they would regulate second hand smoke?

Did they think about the children who will grow up with second hand smoke in their homes?

Did they think about the infants who will be exposed to marijuana in the womb, at birth, and throughout their childhood and into adulthood?

Did they think about the affect this will have on our school system, which has already been left behind by most of the nation?

Did they think about how it would affect our public parks and other public gathering places?

Did anyone think of that, or are we content to fill up our skies with clouds of weed smoke and forget the layer of rain clouds above us even exists? The rain benefits our state with its evergreen beauty. Marijuana for medical benefits may or may not have a good purpose, but I am certain that marijuana for recreational purposes has no benefits for anyone other than addicts.

Welcome to the EverWeed State, home of the weed cloud and pothead population.
