ELECTION: Would Romney be Norquist’s puppet?

I’m surprised that the Democrat campaigners have not reminded the electorate of the widely televised comment during the Republican primaries by Grover Norquist. The ultraconservative no-tax guru proclaimed that the country only needed a president with four functioning fingers and an opposable thumb.

He obviously referred to a puppet president who will sign what he’s instructed to sign by the Republican operatives we’ve known well. A vote for a hollow Romney is a vote for McConnell, Boehner, McCain, Rove, Cheney, Norquist, maybe even Palin, ad nauseum.
