TACOMA: Dome events, parking too pricey

It is really sad for me to watch the Tacoma Dome price itself out of existence. My family used to enjoy going to the Dome for events throughout the year, every year. But with the unreasonable admission prices and the cost of parking, it just isn’t worth the price to take the family there anymore.

The latest disappointment was when we researched the Holiday Food & Gift Festival and had to make the frustrating decision to skip it again this year due to the cost. It is much less expensive to see the same events at the Portland Expo.

We would really prefer to support our local venues, but we also have a fiscal responsibility to our own budgets as well. My hope is that someday soon, they will find a way to decrease their prices to a more reasonable amount so that we can once again make the Dome a regular family destination.
