ELECTION: Connelly would be a leader

I have been very impressed with Jack Connelly’s campaign and the work it is doing to show voters what their representative has actually been doing in Olympia. State Rep. Jeannie Darneille’s votes are extreme for the 27th District and reflect very questionable judgment.

Darneille is acting like she is entitled to the office and nobody should dare to run against her or question her votes. I disagree very strongly with this type of attitude.

In Tacoma we have tended to move the same people around from office to office. We don’t seem to elect people who have a track record of success in the private sector. That is why I have been impressed with Connelly’s campaign. He has such a record, and it would be exciting for this city to get him into the Legislature. He would definitely be a leader down there, whereas Darneille has had 12 years and has not been a leader for this district.
