DEBATE: Is voter fraud alive and well at TNT?

At the conclusion of the presidential debate, I checked reaction of the three leading cable news outlets.

The folks at Fox were all smiles, the CNN people were shaking their heads in disbelief, and the MSNBC crew – Rachel Maddow, Al Sharpton, et al. –were fighting to hold back tears.

On Thursday the polls showed that most people in America thought Mitt Romney had won by 20 points or more; today the Rasmussen poll reported that for the first time Romney had taken a lead in Florida, and Virginia and had closed the gap to one point in the must-win state of Ohio.

Friday, even columnist Eugene Robinson, a consummate liberal, was bemoaning the president’s poor performance, so I checked The News Tribune’s Hot Button question segment to see what the verdict was among local potential voters. By a 47-42 percent margin they said that Barack Obama had won.

Did Obama supporters stuff the ballot box by voting more than once?”

Wow, it’s tough being a Republican in Western Washington.
