ELECTION: Darneille being unfairly attacked

Two days in a row I have received an extremely ugly flyer from state Senate candidate Jack Connelly implying that opponent Jeannie Darnielle is soft on crime and is more interested in supporting criminals than law-abiding citizens.

There is even a photo of Meeka Willingham and her mother, with a statement of support from Sylvia Willingham for Jack Connelly. Meeka Willingham was murdered in August 1994. Darnielle has represented the 27th District in the state House since 2001. Where is the connection?

These seem to be the tactics of a desperate candidate. I would urge the voters of the 27th District to dig deeper for the facts.
