TNT: No place for racist headlines

Letter by G.E. Riplinger, Tacoma on Sep. 10, 2012 at 9:52 am | 75 Comments »

“Election: A message to white guys” (online letter).

You have to be joking! If a staffer wrote that headline, he should be immediately fired. If the author wrote that headline, it should not have been printed.

The letter writer addressed “blue-collar guys who hate President Obama” – not white-, black-, or green – blue-collar guys who hate Obama.

I do not hate Obama, but I detest his policies. Does that make me a racist? If so, we are in an era that is nothing more than a sad state of affairs.
