ELECTION: McKenna has strongly supported veterans

Rob McKenna is, by word and deed, a strong supporter of veterans and their families. He is the son of a career Army warrant officer, and his positions as a candidate reflect unqualified support.

Jay Inslee, on the other hand, provides a far different perspective. In October 2011, prior to Inslee’s resignation from Congress, there were 16 bills in Congress that would benefit veterans and their families. Inslee had not signed on as a co-sponsor or supporter of one of those bills!

The troubling issue is not the content or scope of a specific bill, rather it is the pattern of Inslee not supporting any of these measures. In light of such a failure of support, what can be expected in the future?

McKenna is the true supporter of veterans and by far the best choice for governor.

  1. sandblower says:

The author gives no indication of the content of the bills he mentions, nor does he provide information that McKenna whould have supported the bills himself had he been in office.
The letter is an empty message and the lack of content is an indication of the shallowness of the author’s opinion.

  2. I will vote for Mckenna for two reasons. (1). He’s not a demokrat and (2). He’s not a demokrat..

  3. Frosty – the perfect example of a yellow dog republican.

  4. Frankenchrist says:

My vote will cancel frosty’s vote, lol.

  5. the3rdpigshouse says:

Wake up people and keep the socialist democrats out of government at all levels!!

  6. sandblower says:

Piggy, huffing and puffing inside your house has the same effect as doing it on the outside.

  7. Fibonacci says:

Wake up people and keep the totalitarian Republicans out of government at all levels!!

Old Piggy wants a one party system. It has worked so well throughout history hasn’t it?

  8. Fibonacci, yeah, the first two years of Obama’s administration proved your point.

  9. xring, you really need to get off of that merry go round.

  10. look whose talking – mr talking points

  11. LeePHilI says:

Can anyone cite the 16 bills that Inslee allegedly ignored?

  12. Who cares? He’s a democrat, nuff said.

  13. LeePHilI says:

    Fine, frosty.

We never depend on an educated vote from you or those like you.

    You’re known as the “30%”.

  14. took14theteam says:

And you’re known as the other “30%”.
