ELECTION: Jeannie Darnielle shares 27th District values

Jeannie Darnielle has served as our representative in the state Legislature for 12 years. She has consistently stood for our values, on issues both large and small.

She has fought to allow school nurses to apply sunscreen to children when they are outdoors. She has stood for a woman’s right to choose and has consistently supported equality legislation for all Washingtonians of every gender preference, including the right to marry. She sponsored a bill in 2010 that allowed law enforcement to remove leg shackles from incarcerated women in their late third trimester of pregnancy if they pose no flight risk.

Jack Connelly holds values quite different from those of the 27th District. He opposes a woman’s access to contraception and signed a 2002 petition to repeal an anti-discrimination ordinance.

Darnielle is the only candidate running for the 27th District’s state Senate seat who truly reflects the values of our district. She is responsible, compassionate and dedicated to the 27th District.

  2. Why must we endure these phony LTE’s?

And why are they placed at the front of the line?

I’m a 27th District voter and Darnielle doesn’t represent MY values. My values include LOW taxes so that people may more easily provide for their own families. All this made up stuff about third trimester leg shackles is a joke. I about gagged when I read that. Who cares?
