TNT: Bad choice for the front page

I have no idea how The New Tribune picks what is on the front page. With all that is going on in the world, the U.S. and our local community, how could you possibly justify the story of a local wedding chapel with a picture of a gun hanging in the background, not to mention the best man (a soldier) standing there in cargo shorts and an unironed shirt? Most of our military men and women have more pride in their dress and grooming.

Then we come to the gun thing: Mass killers in a movie theater and a Sikh temple (who was an Army veteran) dominate the news, and you think it’s cool to give free advertising to a business with the word “love” spelled out using a handgun, a grenade, a knife and a rifle.

You should be ashamed.

Roy and everyone else, it is not the chapel’s decoration that makes one wonder, it is those who designed it and those who choose to use it that makes one wonder.

  7. dlockner says:

It’s a business. The free market will determine it’s legitimacy.

It would appear that Mr.Parfitt needs to learn the difference between a stick and a suppository.

  9. blakeshouse says:

Just another whiner that found something to bitch about that has no bearing on anyone except those involved. An individual with the full Wa State nanny mentality

  10. Good grief Roy, With all that is going on in the world, the U.S. and our local community, you chose to whine about some cheesey wedding chapel in Tillicum?
