ELECTION: Scare tactics don’t work in the 27th

I recently received Jack Connelly’s “Anxious lady/cop cars/crime scene” campaign ad in the mail, and I’m sorry to say, it really doesn’t help his cause in my mind.

I know nothing about him, except that he has enough money to put a ton of signs all over town and that his position on reproductive rights is not at all clear. I have, however, met 27th District state Rep. Jeannie Darneille on a few occasions, and I know she is a compassionate woman who has the well-being of people in mind when making her legislative choices. She has a positive vision of the world and of the future.

What the ad leads me to believe is that Connelly has a vision of the future that includes repression and cops everywhere. That’s the image that came to my mind when I received this aggressive campaign ad on a beautiful Thursday afternoon.

Better luck next time convincing me why my preference should go with Connelly.

Connelly is a republican masquerading as a democrat.

  2. MrCarleone says:

Connelly is the attorney who has made millions of Taxpayers Dollars sueing the State .

  3. SwordofPerseus says:

As far as I am concerned being a trained attorney and member of the bar is grounds for immediate disqualification for political office. More trained liars is not what the 27th District needs.

  4. I just do not get it. Jack is a declared Democrat. Jack has won lawsuits against the State because the system failed us. The three branches of our government, the thing that makes us great is now being question or stated as something bad or worse evil?. If I read the last statement right anyone who is educated in the law and have the understanding on how it will impact our society must be disqualified to run for office i guess that includes ore current President Are you guys for real?

In 2009 Darneille claimed publically that she was for lowering the sales tax rates, then in 2011 she snuck a bill through the legislature which allowed the city of Tacoma to increase it’s sales tax rate. Ariane, I prefer more accountability from elective office holders.
