TNT: Sandusky cartoon classless

I often read and enjoy your online edition of your paper on an almost daily basis. Today I clicked on the site, and the first thing I noticed was the cartoon of the notorious Jerry Sandusky (TNT editorial cartoon gallery). While what has happened is heinous and unforgivable, I thought the cartoon published was in extremely poor taste.

The depiction of handcuffs as “Penn State sweatbands” is a slap in the face to all the fine students and faculty of that university who had absolutely nothing to do with the tragedies that occurred there. To make such light of the situation is even more of an insult to the victims.

I hope that in future publications you may take a more sensitive approach to like subjects.
