JBLM: We could all use a Vitamin D boost

The Pacific Northwest has grown more than its share of killer monsters: Ted Bundy, the Green River Killer, The Freeway Snipers, the Lakewood cop killer, Police Chief David Brame, Josh Powell and now this soldier from Joint Base Lewis-McChord.

It should not be lost upon everyone that our neck of the woods hardly boasts a lot of sunshine. The general at JBLM should demand all soldiers be on a daily regimen of Vitamin D. The rest of us would certainly benefit with supplements of this vitamin as well.

This won’t cure burn-out on soldiers deployed one too many times, nor will it end suicides, but it just might benefit the overall health of all soldiers and citizens. It’s a thought.
