Being of the “older” generation, my husband and I still love to lie on our prospective couches each morning actually holding our News Tribune and reading the day’s features and editorials.
Once again, TNT’s feature-original, local reporting held me spellbound both Sunday and Monday, with Merryman’s “The Long Road to Sober,” along with the related articles and editorial, and Pawloski’s “Lost Lake, Lost Dreams.” Both subjects give us readers much to ponder. And, even though TNT must supplement the paper with many Associated Press stories, the ones the TNT staff chooses are interesting and varied.
I also appreciate the balanced approach of your editorials. Praise to keeping quality staff writers. During these difficult economic times for most of us, especially the print newspaper industry, I wish you well.
