Last week I had the opportunity to meet Therese Pasquier, candidate for Puyallup School Board, at a neighborhood “meet the candidates” event. She impressed me immensely.
First, was her willingness to meet informally with those whose support she seeks. She listened intently to my concerns and was genuinely interested in my thoughts. She shared her vast experience advocating for better education as the PTA president, co-chair of the Citizens Committee for Education and in raising grants for school needs.
Asking about her professional experience, I learned that Pasquier has a vast business background as a funds developer and manager of a brokerage firm along with graduate studies in hospital administration.
Meeting Pasquier, reviewing her resume and realizing that her opponent Dane Looker has publicly stated that “Mrs. Pasquier has more experience than me” and “my list of professional credentials is short” makes Therese Pasquier my overwhelming choice to serve on the Puyallup School Board.
